MRI LUMBOSACRAL SPINES REVEALS

Technique:

-Sagittal T1 W.l & T2 W.l

-Axial T2W.I

-MR Myelography

Findings:

• Modic chages is noted at the upper border of LV2, in the form of hypointense signals in both T1 and T2 … reflecting grade III Modic changes.

• Shmorhl’s nodules is noted at the upper border of L V4.

• Loss of normal high signal intensity of most of the dorsal and upper lumber discs at T2 W.l’ … denoting disc degenerative changes.

• No significant disc herniation or bulge is noted at the examined level.

• Normal width & height of all vertebral bodies as well as appendages.

• Increase the lumber lordosis with slight right scoliosis.

• No pre or paravertebral soft tissue signal intensity masses.

• No intra dural space occupying lesions.
